I just saw Friday Night Lights last night, and I saw Coach Carter just a few minutes ago, and it got me thinking. What's your favorite sports movie? My top three are:1. Remember The Titans2. Coach Carter3. HoosiersEDIT: Oops, can someone move this out of the debate section?

I like Coach Carter the best, but I haven't seen some of the classics I hear talked about.

I just love Hoosiers. It has to be my favourite. Remember The Titans was pretty good as well, but I just love Hoosiers.

Coach Carter, Remember the Titans, White Men Can't Jump, Hoop Dreams, Celtic Pride, Love & Basketball.

I really liked Coach Carter and Remember the Titans...Those are for sure my #1 and #2. White Men Can't Jump was a pretty good movie as well. That is probably my #3.

Sports movies are all pretty much the same, same boring motovational speak, 'come on you black hoodlums do your math homework, omg the star player is injured we have to win for him, game winning shot, inspiring coach...etc..etc...etc...etc.. The recent Longest Yard is the only sports movie I've really enjoyed watching..it was awesome.

In no specific order:

Hoosiers
Coach Carter
White Men Can't Jump
Invincible
Gridiron Gang
Above the Rim
He Got Game
Remember the Titans
Hoop Dreams

I'm with Tony on Hoop Dreams and White Men Can't Jump. Also, I don't believe it's been said but Rocky is one of my favorites as well regarding sports.

Raging Bull is an awesome movie. The Hurricane, although not so much about the boxing, is a great movie that involves sports. You guys need to look up on the classics. Every movie that's mentioned was made in the past 10 years.

But I don't fault anyone for mentioning some movies from the past 10 years. Their were some good ones made and I read some that weren't made in the past 10 years. For some classics, my dad and me love Brian's Song and The Champ. Some great movies, tearjerkers.

Major League, Caddyshack, Hoosiers, and Remember the Titans are my favorites.Glory Road would be up there if it weren't so factually incorrect.
