...lol...touche'.

Applebees doesn't count

...didn't work a Applebees, so you can just stop with the condescending BS...I worked at a restaurant/lounge...and managed the same...I speak from experience while you on the other hand, speak out of ignorance and false bravado.

Vodka should only be consumed in shot form. The only reason we ever got bottles of vodka in Vegas is because girls wont drink whiskey or gin.

...wow...Sly, at that price are you sure it's not horse meat?

lol, reminds me of a great story. The basketball coach at Grant High School in the 60's and 70's, Ed Rooney had 9 kids. I played ball with a couple of them and he found out that his wife, to save money, was feeding the family horse meat rather than cow. She was purchasing it at a shop off 39th and Hawthorne that specialized in horse meat. It actually got him invited to the Johnny Carson show.

My cousin's reataurant in manila serves horse. Didnt get a chance to go there though

Ok my friend, lets take it down a couple of notches.

...oh please...he's talking out of his ass about something he obviously knows little about. He makes a snide remark about me supposedly working at Applebee's and it's OK but I make a comment about his experience with the opposite sex and you consider that as a personal attack?...seriously?

No, I didn't considerate it a personal attack. If I had I would have deleted the post, lol.

It's just that things have finally settled a bit in the OT section and I don't want to see them getting fired back up again.

I'm feeling lazy and would rather fuck off than moderate anything.

...I understand your plight and your position, Sly. But consider it from my position as well...I just would have accepted it better if instead of only singling me out, you had instead told us BOTH to knock it off.

^^^no, it's based on your personal preference...gin is pretty much juniper berries added to vodka...vodka and/or gin are common liquors used in making a martini.
Vodka is devoid of flavor. Gin has juniper and several florals added.
Me, I prefer some flavor. I also enjoy a gin and tonic.

Gin and tonics were invented by the British when they were working on the Panama canal. Quinine was required to prevent malaria. Quinine is contained in tonic water. To get construction workers to take their quinine, the British got them to take their quinine in the form of gin and tonic.

By the way, if you have problems with muscle cramps, try drinking tonic water. A sip a day will do the trick. The VA used to prescribe quinine pills to me to control my muscle cramps. Later, it was learned that too much quinine is bad for you so they quit prescribing the pills. Now, I take my daily meds with a sip of quinine and as a result no more cramps. You get enough quinine in the tonic water to relieve your cramps but not enough to hurt you.

Fuck off? I thought that was your middle name.
I think I'll fuck off the rest of the day as a tribute to you.

Fucking off . . .

Drank my share of Tanqueray and tonic back in the day...as far as the "taste" of vodka or lack thereof...I remember a boring day at the bar one day and some liquor salesmen were arguing over their brand of vodka so I decide to have a "blind taste test"...and poured a taste of about 4-5 different brands of vodka including their own brand into plastic cups (Stoli/Smirnoff/etc., and our well brand)...they all sipped and swished and voted...and believe it or not, our well brand came in 2nd place...that should tell you a lot about so called "vodka experts".

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I ended up going with T-bones. Got a really nice deal on some great ones and the results were outstanding. I'm definitely going to have to work my way through the list of recommendations, however. I hope my cholesterol level can handle it.

We should call you T-BONE

First time having it, i think it was new at the spot.
My wife hasn't even heard of it but she doesn't rule it out as a possible Korean food.

New to me and I thought I'd seen it all.
