One time a buddy of mine took me to see The Groove Tube while I had recently shared some joints and ate some marijuana brownies. Holy crap, I thought I was losing my mind. Meanwhile, my buddy was laughing his ass off.

Damn that was one of the funniest movies ever, or at least of its time.

Special prize for this who know what this is! :)

Already I'm laughing just remembering this skit from nearly half a century ago.

I'm partial to one called 'purple OG garlic cat-piss chronic banana-jama-whama tick-tock bee-bop fruit-loop bubba bomb superman berry crunch.'

However, 'sour crack GMO white-fire alien jet-fueled diesel skunk super-ultra scooby-snack blackberry Buddha haze kush' is also not bad.

I'll have to pick up a sample of that...never tried it. I smoke whichever 4 strains I grow that year...next year maybe I'll try and grow one of those

You'll enjoy it, @riverman... it's a very easy strain to grow & it usually yields pretty heavily. If pushed too long (50+% amber trichomes at harvest), however, you might get a li'l more couch-lock effect than what you prefer (as you stated previously). That said, if pulled a li'l earlier, I think it'll be right up your alley... ;)

I loved Panama Red.

Blue Dream the stuff you want to smoke when you have things to do, places to be and people to see. IMHO it’s the best “daytime” strain. My wife doesn’t partake and probably wishes I didn’t, but if she had her way I’d stick with that strain. After a bowl I just can’t sit still, so I can be very motivated and productive. She likes that.

Since we can't buy it legally {yet} I smoke whatever I can get....my brother in law grows his own and it's pretty damn good...he gives me a sealed mason jar packed full of skunk smelling buds...very gummy, very pungent, and a good mellow buzz.

As far as smoking during the day, I just can't do it anymore. If I did, I wouldn't get shit done...so I smoke almost every evening to help me sleep.

...and it works.

I grow outdoors so I keep looking for strains that are powder mold resistant and early flowering...KeyLimePie has proven to be that so far...Alaskan Thunderfuck is another that does well here. OG Grapefruit Kush and Jack Herrer strains also....Chemdawg didn't do well here, nor Cherynobyl...nor Lemon Sour Diesel which I love....Deep Cheese does well here...I like low maintenance strains

Far too many to list, all have some level of amazing therapeutic/healing properties. I love them all, Indicas, sativas, hybrids, & ruderalis. If I had to pick, my favorites would probably be my proprietary strains that I bred myself.

For me, the best part, is taking plants from soil to oil and then making all sorts of other products with it. Topicals, edibles, FECO (Full Extract Cannabis Oil), shatter, terp sauce, butter, wax, rosin, live resin, etc. Knowing what all went into growing the plants and extracting them, just takes consumption to a whole 'nother level, IMO.
do you make all that? I’ve recently been using feco and smoking a lot less. My lungs are happy with me

Yes, cannabis is my passion in life & I'm constantly learning how to make different products. I've worked in the industry for years, up until recently. Learned a lot, but, unfortunately, the industry is littered with shitty people, so I got out of it. Would love to enter the market/industry again, once I'm able to afford to do so on my own (i.e. probably never). That said, at least I'm self-sufficient and can help other growers process their harvests, into pure, clean medicine.

20210103_130012.jpg 20210103_133149.jpg Got a little bit of extraction work in this weekend. Didn't get many pics, but did manage to snap one of the wash. This round of FECO will be used to infuse a batch of coconut oil.

Wash appears cloudy in my shitty picture, due to condensation & me being an extremely poor photographer.

You are the weed champion in this place!

th1E525IRS.jpg You deserve a blessing from the local sanctifier.

It took 50 years of fighting the moronic oppressors to get grass legalized, and it'll take another 50 to get LSD freedom.

Only psychedelics taught me anything (e.g. seeing the world and mind as levels, specifically perceiving what my subconcious mind is doing right now, etc.). Grass was useless for analyzing outside and inside worlds, like beer. Hash was similar, though a deeper, more reflective trip than shallow grass. Hash is to grass as Sprite is to 7-Up. (When someone talks in analogies/metaphors, and adds levels, he's an acid thinker. In the 70s, some stand-up comedians used acid humor, but the Reagan purges ended certain streams of advocacy.)

In the 70's, one of my friends came back from Germany, on service leave and five of us partook a 1/8" square from a postage stamp. We joked about that, except my bud who came back from Germany. We never expected any result but when we entered the optical exhibit at the State Museum, universes collided. Now that was interesting! The kaleidoscope exhibit was intense as five fools inserted our heads into the frame and flipped out. The security guard asked us to leave as his lips and words did not match.

weed has come a long ways since seedy Mexican shag......I have made some coconut butter ghee that will easily put you in LSD mode if you do a strong edible formula....edibles can be very, psychotropic..I also make some great hash but it's less introspective in my view than some Sativa strains...it's more sleepy in nature...great medicinally but as far as introspection.....I'll take a good Sativa over my hash. Hash has a physical weight to it that is where couch lock comes from...I also believe all drugs are decriminalized in Oregon....you need to move here and bring chemistry lab!
