This may have been posted, but I did a search and didn't find any threads.

Batum will play for France. http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/i...tum_announces_decision_to_play_in_basket.html

We could see our players play a lot in the off season this year. Not sure if it's what I want for the most heavily relied upon starting 5 in the nba. Batum being the player who ran the furthest on court distance on the nba this season.

I assume Lillard will be invited, and accept.

Aldridge likely won't ever play on team usa. I think colangelo is infatuated with Klove, and Aldridge may have burnt that bridge.

Robin Lopez will no doubt be playing for Stankonia.

Wonder how long it will be until team usa releases an official roster.

LMA is a lock if he wants to play. He's already been invited. There won't be tryouts. The team will be selected from the pool of players. If LMA declines, then his bridge to Team USA will be burned for good.

From what I've read Aldridge actually has not been invited to play In the FIBA World Cup. He was invited to tryout with the team like 2 summers ago before the olympics and he never did which didn't sit well with colangelo.

Why doesn't Batum rest for one damn offseason. Look how much it helped Ginobili this year.

He talked about participating during this seasons' exit interview.

You're wrong. He was invited to play.
