I think it will be like the XBox version. They had the Russian league, tons of leagues... it was very overwhelming, but fun.</p>

... 06 version? I remember last time I played a Fifa on XBox I had tons of issues doing transfers due to the huge number of teams, leagues and players. </p>

FIFA 06 was arguebely the best sports game I ever played and 07 was also pretty damn good. I'm definitely snagging a copy of this, just gotta hope that my disc doesn't get scratched this time.

Do me a favor, the next time you buy a soccer game, look into Pro Evolution Soccer/Winning Eleven. Once you play those, you'll be saying "holy crap, the real life guys are copying my players in PES/WE! They're doing the same moves!"</p>

I don't know a thing about Soccer outside of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Pele and Beckham yet the FIFA series is one of my favorites of any videogame, so fun....

I've never bought a console soccer game before but the people I talk to say FIFA is a better sim than Winning Eleven or Pro Evo, which are more like arcade games.</p>

Can anyone confirm? I really can't stand any of EA's other sports games outside of Madden so I'm surprised FIFA might be great.</p>

Nah Pro evo is alot better then Fifa. This is a never dying battle between the two but whatever you like is cool but i would personally go for Pro Evo/ Winning eleven

WhatI'mabouttotellyoumayshockyou,butProEvolutionSoccer/WinningElevenisthemostrealisticsportsgamein the world. I've stopped playing Soccer games because of Fifa (there was a time where all you had to do is cross the ball and do a bicycle kick to score. I've never seen a game where there were 20 bicycle kicks in every match), but when my brother got WE, I've been playing it as my only sports game exclusively.</p>

I dont know about that, I have never played any of the Winning Eleven titles but from all the soccer game buffs I have talked to they say that Winning Eleven is the better sim of the two but I prefer Fifa because they have player rights probably for 99% of their players while Winning Eleven has maybe half so for example if your playing with Man Utd. someone who willl look like Roony may be William Ronnick. Also Fifa's grachips are 10x better then winning eleven and their gameplay is actually starting to resemble that of winning eleven. </p>

Now that I've played NBA Live 08, I must say I'm having some hopes for Fifa 2008 also. It's coming to PSN and XBOX live on the 13th (or 14th). I can't wait to test it out. My PS3 HDD is getting smaller and smaller though.
