Macca’sBeen listening to local broadcasts of the games. I’ve learned that in Australia they call McDonalds “Mackers”… Get Mackers delivered to your door with McDelivery.
I didn’t realize how big of a deal Sam Kerr is. My daughter absolutely loves her!Macca’s
HA! That would be crazy, but we are NOT planning on that.Gotta make some room for your kid in 2027.
Sam is the most popular athlete in Australia, everyone loves her!I didn’t realize how big of a deal Sam Kerr is. My daughter absolutely loves her!
American right absolutely delighted US women lost.

AYYYYIntense match between Australia and France, end-to-end stuff, chances for both teams. A match worthy of a World Cup final.
Australia win 0-0 (7-6) in the end after the longest penalty shootout (10 each) in World Cup history (women’s or men’s). This is the first time Australia has reached the semi finals, we will face the winner of England and Colombia. I’m a little worried we may have already played our final, and won’t get up for the next match.
Well played England, they were the better team on the night.ENG-UR-LAND!!!
It was an absolute cracker of a goal!WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW
SAM KERR!!!!!
I think we mostly have ourselves to blame for the loss. Defenders were ball watching for the first goal, leaving the English player unmarked. Defender should have cleared the ball for the second goal, but mucked up. The wrong defender stepped up for the third goal, and opened up the hole to pass through, it was exactly what the English attacker wanted. But that’s soccer, a handful of small mistakes will cost you matches. We still did really well, and captured the hearts of the nation. The Australia v England match was the highest rating TV event on Australian TV since 2001.@DUB
Dang bro I was really pulling for AUS in this. I wanted the hosts to win. Plus I always route for any underdog when my team is out, and they were my choice. I thought they could get it, but knew it would be tough.
I’m legitimately bummed man. Was a Great run by the Matilda’s though. I think they showed that they are certainly a team to fear in the Olympics and future WC. Proved they are one of the top nations in women’s soccer.
World Cup is rough… People who don’t follow soccer don’t get this. Soccer is a brutal sport. One mistake can and has been the difference to winning and losing. Same can be said for most sports, if you throw an INT in the 4th you can lose the game in football. Turn it over late in the 4th down 2 in the NBA can lose the game. But in soccer it’s different. Sometimes it’s a mistake in the first 5 minutes and then the other team just looks to defend and control possession. It’s honestly tough for me to choose my favorite sport between basketball and soccer.
For those who don’t know, Messi is dominating with Miami. Maybe that’s why Dame wants to go to Miami… So he can kick it with the GOAT.
