I feel cautiously optimistic about this season. I am most excited to watch Lillard and Aldridge but I hope Nolan Smith never gets playing time. My thoughts on our new coach are meh. If the coaches keep everyone's attention I will be pleased, but if they rely too heavily on LMA I will be pissed.

I think it’s funny that the GM says that he’s ok with fans holding him and the team accountable for the players and play on the court, but “it’s (their) business” how team uses salary cap and pays players. I’m not advocating the godlike devotion that some had for KP (kpee?), but I think if the basketball staff realized their fans were more savvy than most on these matters then it would go a long way to rebuilding some of the front-office-to-fan schisms that the “journalists” in Portland can exploit.
