i agree with hollinger's rating, but not steins' . . .
5th works for me!
I wouldnt have believed you if you told me at the start of the season that we'd finish the season ranked 5th.
Even if the Kings re-hire Eddie Jordan and win the Blake Griffin lottery, they're looking at a long climb back. Even in all those dreadful years, Sacramento never endured a season worse than 23-59. Until now.

I hadn't realized the Kings are looking at a 16 win season.
Man, that makes the darkest days of the Blazers seem almost rosy.
Yeah, that franchise is in a tailspin. I'm not sure Blake Griffin would turn them around.
I like their young bigs Thompson and Hawes a little bit, but Kevin Martin doesn't do a damn thing for me and Beno Udrih making the full MLE for five years has to be one of the biggest swindles I've ever seen.
If they somehow get Rubio and can trade for some veteran help on the wing then I think they've got a decently bright future, they're just way too damn young where they do have talent and way too undertalented where they have experience.
Portland, though, is only #10 in the esteemed Денг Гордон power rankings.
So, it's not all positive news...![]()

Kudos to Nate for having these guys mentally prepared.....
