I could be wrong but it seems to be very rare that someone who needs it wins it.
Hey, hey, don't glorify him. The son of a bitch won MY money. Okay, I was gonna share it with my wife. She could have a new purse and matching pair of shoes. I'd also have taken her out to a better place for dinner than the usual Burgerville.

I remember you used to get to choose between cod and halibut. Somewhere between 6 and 8 bucks I think. Yikes.
Try going to Skippers. It's not what it used to be. Their default fish and chips consists of something that's not Halibut nor Cod, I think it's Haddock and it's very lousy. You pay extra for Cod and even that's not as good as the Cod they used to use.
Hard to find a good seafood restaurant. The best I've found is at Tony's Fish Market in Oregon City. The fresh seafood is pretty good and you can buy cooked food to eat there but the dining is extremely casual even for lunch.
I have had perfect fried oysters at McCormick and Schmick's on the Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy but the next two times I ordered it it was over cooked.
If you like oysters on the half shell try somne Fanny Bay's. They taste like the ocean smells. Delicious with lemon juice, cocktail sauce, horseradish and tobasco sauce, all washed down with a Guinness. If you've never had them before, try a few drinks first then they'll go down without much trouble, that's how I learned to eat them. I first ate them at Henry Ford's restaurant just off Barbur Blvd. near Capitol Hwy. Henry Ford's has been closed for 2 or 3 decades now.

I don't eat seafood...unless I catch it
