Finding Lawn Care, Landscape services in Hillsboro

Hey guys, i need some help.

I need some lawn services done on my lawn but i don't want a re-occuring commitment, i want just a one time thing.

Things I need:

*Weed Removal
*Healthier/Fuller grass
*New barkdust

Now, my lawn area is not that big, but the new barkdust area might be a little spendy im sure.

My problem is that this is the first time im searching for something like this, and everything looks like its super professional, weekly service.

I just want a decent job done at a good price, but i dont know the best way to go about finding the right people for the job.

Anyone got any ideas/suggestions?

you just drive there, offer them $10 an hour and drive them to your house, tell them what to do and give them some drinks. just drive by, some people want more, but just keep on looking. just say to "pull weeds".

I doubt you'll get a lush lawn from a one-time renovation. Buy a couple bags of lawn food and a hand-held broadcaster. Wouldn't take more than 20 minutes to apply....and that's about all you'll get from anyone else on a do-it-once deal.

Call Rexius, (if they have one in your area). They will come an blow bark mulch on your flower beds.

For pulling weeds, I don't have a lot of help for you. Do you have any ambitious, and hard working teens in your neighborhood that would like to make some cash? (I'd be leerly of bringing some homeless guy to my house. I'd be worried about him coming back when I wasn't home.) (And, yes I know that not all illegals are homeless....but how do you tell who is and who is not?)

It's simple. Tell the guy that first, you want to go to his house and pull weeds from his yard. After you've done that, you'll know he's legit and it's safe to have him pull weeds at your house.

We use NewLife Landscaping in Hillsboro. They only did Landscaping but I think they do maintainence and one day type stuff too now. In fact... hey... lol... they put pics of the work we had done on their site.
