But I hate the term "libtards." It just sounds redneck as fuck.

I, a liberal don't think voter ID laws are racist. I think they target the lower class, who may not be able to afford an ID. That said I don't think its unconstitutional.

Saying lower class can't afford it (nice fence straddling to not mention minorities) is racist. Why? I know your comment was figuratively describing the minorities because there is more poor white people than any other race in this country.

So you think minorities are either too poor or stupid to get a ID card. That poor white demographic vote GOP and they have no problem getting an ID. The minorities don't have issues either.

The lower class encompasses all races. I was saying if anything the voter ID is classist, not racist. I never said anything about the lower class being of less intelligence either. I happen to know that sometimes paying the rent is more important than getting that ID renewed sometimes. Your mind went towards the gutter not mine...you called the lower class stupid and ascribed to minorities not me.

You presume much. In order for these people to get welfare or housing, they need ID. Total failed response bro.

Ha! Yep, even way back. In the 60's I programmed a new installation of accounting machines for the Well Fare department in Portland, on SW 5th ave I think it was. Seperate from the State office building on 4th because the traffic was so heavy. Geez, it was a horrible place to work in among the social workers while they were working the queue. Listening to exchanges was more than I wanted to know, but that was where the data interface was.

It was pretty much rookie work and I manage never to get stuck with that again. They all have an ID, period.

Come to think of it, it was probably a County office.
