Misleading to say Kreider was signed only because he was the last vet. Even if that was the case, he was the last vet for a reason. He brings a lot of the on and off ice attributes that have been emphasized ever since the rebuild. Size, speed, character, etc. It is a huge clue as to how the organization viewed Kreider vs Hayes that Hayes as a C was the one traded away while Kreider as a winger was signed. You can disagree with the reasoning, and it is a valid criticism that his disappearing acts are continuing to be a problem, but it was a calculated decision and was not just "well he's the last guy here so let's sign him."

The covid situation with Z is real. There are numerous examples of pro athletes taking a good amount of time to get back up to speed across all sports. My concern though is that Z's offseason training and off ice work ethic were already in question and one of the reasons OTT decided to move on from him. Is he doing everything he needs to do to get back in shape? Had he already been slacking off with his training when he got it, putting him even farther behind the 8 ball for this season? Dont know, but he has been SO bad, so far beyond whatI would have expected even with covid, that it is fair to ask. He flubbed more one timers over the past 3 games than he did all last year.

Chytil getting hurt this year really complicates the C situation, and the upcoming decision on Zibanejad. If Chytil was continuing to improve and show signs of a future 2C as he was earlier this year, maybe we decide we can afford to move on from Zbad and go all in on Eichel or another target at that caliber. Now it's a question mark of whether Z is still our near term 1C and we go after a lesser target. Lots of moving pieces here made more complicated by the Chytil injury. Hopefully he is back soon.

I don't think it's misleading. His contract was up last, which is a fact, so that left him as the last vet standing. It is my opinion that was a factor in his re-signing (you don't have to agree with that as it's my opinion), but that doesn't make it misleading.

Hayes' contract was up before Kreider's, so a decision had to be made on him first. Yes they could have re-signed him and then dealt Kreider a year later, but my opinion is they were in full sell mode until last season. If it was reverse and they still kept Kreider, you'd be spot on, that was not the case though. We don't know for sure if my opinion of Kreider's contract timing as the last vet standing is true as mentioned, but that's how I feel. They felt we have to keep some vet, and we are closer to winning within 1-2 years when Kreider is up, so they kept him.

We agree 100% on Z. As I said earlier, I give him a break due to Covid, I really do. And I also couldn't agree more. He has been so awful on his bread and butter one-timers, it tells me very clearly he is very much off his game. It's a great indicator to me.

Agreed, hope Chytil is back soon to see what he really is. I think the Z decision doesn't need to be made until next season anyway, and I think we'll be all in on Eichel this summer. We can afford both Z and Eichel if we want, so I kind of think they won't directly be tied together. Maybe a bigger factor is can Chytil play the role of # 2 C, but even then I expect the Rangers to be all in on Eichel if he becomes available.

Now if you watched the Islanders coach who has a brain unlike Quinn, you saw that he put Wahlstrom on the top PP unit because of his one timer and let him one time the puck. Our dumb fuck coach refuses to do that with Kakko. One of many examples of why this shithead needs to be fired immediately.

Wait, you want to fire Quinn, wow I never knew that. You learn something new every day.

I wish we had wahlstrom instead of kratsnov which a lot of us wanted at the draft. Kid is going to be real good

Have to give Kravtsov a chance first. Whalstrom is not a good skater and never will be. Kravtsov has everything you need to be a 60+ point guy. It was his work ethic and defense that was a concern to me. He seemed to get that under control when he came back for his second AHL stint. Now he can come back. With him here I expect the following after Quinn is fired which I don't believe will be much longer. I expect the Rangers to trade Howden and DeAngelo in deals. I expect Howden and Blackwell to go for Bennett. DeAngelo to Detroit for picks and a prospect. Rooney will be an extra. Di Guiseppi will probably go for a pick as well.

Panarin-Chytil-Kakko
Lafreniere-Zibanejad-Kreider
Buchnevich-Stome-Kravtsov
Lemieux-Bennett-Gauthier

No provided Zibanejad can pull his head out of his ass at some point this year, that is a forward group you can win games with. Obviously, I'd rather move Strome out for a center that can win faceoffs at a high level. Replace Buchnevich with Barron as well.

Every time I think you can't get more ridiculous, you go ahead and top yourself, kudos to you non-Rangers fan. If percentages were placed on all your nonsensical spewing's, 99.999999999% of what you wrote never happens (you know like book it Dubois will be here - in addition to the 7000 trades and moves through the years you said would happen and never did). But I love how you list like 6 things that have no shot of happening, but do so as if they are a done deal.

That is the height of delusion. I needed a good laugh in the morning, so thank you.

Chuck why is laughable to you?

Dump is spot on with the lineup. I don't understand why this doesn't make sense to you? Not that I care too much to convince you, but the lineup that he put together makes sense to me. What doesn't make sense to you? Chytil at this point probably is better than Z, both Kakko and LFA are on the top 2 lines, which is the way it should be. You want Blackwell to play on the 1st line and Di Guiseppi on the second? Two career AHLers?

It is a nice balanced lineup with a mix of veterans and super-talented kids who come along once in 50 years, and we have two of them. In this lineup, the vets can help kids develop and also contribute.

What is the problem? If you are going to comment, then explain your vision here.

My only problem is Gauthier. I like the guy a lot. He is a power forward with speed and strength. I like him better than Kreider in regards to talent. He needs to play at least on the 3 line for now but there is just no room for him on top 9.

100% agree with dump.

Chuck like Quinn is a retard. He's a fucking tool. Check his posting history. Wants to trade all our picks and prospects. Wants to keep playing scrubs who have a few hot games. He's an embarrassment to our fan base.

In any order. About the same.

There it is again. Cursing and vulgar language. Good times.
