Fire Stotts

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

We could write up a really stern letter outlining why we're angry and then I could send it to the Blazers to put in his personnel file.

Lets fire @HCP to show Stotts how serious we are!

If that happens....

Can't remember, this the same person that was so livid over not extending Thomas Robinson, and wanted Olshey fired?

I think it was the same person who said Luis Montero needs to start, or be a player, or something.

Or was that LizardKing?

I wasn't aware he had applied for the job? It seems reasonable to be able to question a coach if done in a balanced way.
I agree...I have no problem with folks who want coaching changes..I just see him in a positive light ...Stotts plays young guys more than Nate ever did...that's the point I was making

I'm gonna give Stotts the benefit of the doubt. If we fire him, we would have someone interim coach...which wouldn't help our case any, then hire a new coach...Thibs is really the only worthy coach available...and though getting him would mean a more defensive mindedness for the team, in the long run it will do us no bit of good.

Stotts is inexperienced when it comes to coaching a roster without a large veteran presence. He will get better as the team gets better.

I will put the lineup decision on Stott at the end of the game.

Why wasn't Davis in the game on that final possession? Could have been the difference in letting Zbo get the put-back.

I can't understand why Crabbe is getting the burn at the end, he is not a good defender.

I suspect the team feels Davis is a bench contributor and nothing more nothing less.

Plumlee they have hopes he could become an every day starter. They want to put him in critical positions throughout the year and see how he performs. If Stotts was trying to win at all costs Davis would probably be playing more at crunch time. Crabbe and CJ are in the same boat. Does anyone really think CJ is better defensively than Hendo? The team wants to see if CJ improves by the end of the year. Its also a sneaky way of semi tanking.

I bet Vonleh would be getting some of these chances as well but he's been so terrible Stotts is limiting his chances to fail.

While I agree with the sentiment of the OP, I must say I don't agree - AT ALL - with the reasoning behind the OP. LOL!
Fire Stotts, indeed! But Kaman is light years better than Vonleh, and Frazier doesn't even belong in the NBA.
I bet this guy really liked Armon Johnson, Nolan Smith, Elliott Williams, Taurean Green, and he thought Travis Outlaw was destined to be one of the greatest to ever play the game.

Like I said, I think he was the one who said to keep Luis Montero.

I love Stotts. Coaches to win. Summer League, practice, and NBDL are for development. It's not fair to everyone to put in a guy who isn't ready.

Idiotic to suggest firing coach at this point. Watch the games and read what others write here to "try" to learn what the team is doing.

Please go sit in the corner and wait to be asked to join in discussions again someday!!!!!!!!

We can invite Stotts to join the forum and then I can ban him! That's like being fired.
