I guess I'll join if there's still an opening. I was debating whether I was too busy, but whatever. It doesn't take too much time to write up something and I remember it being fun back in the day.

what is going on?

I think yall are tryin too hard to make this conventional....5 judges? 3 verses? Picking who goes first and who doesn't? I think you should chill on the rules lol.
 
This worked great back when I used to run it on JBB. It's not really Dynasty's fault. Back on JBB, we had guys who signed up and actually stuck to their words (unless a personal situation was involved). The judges on JBB did a great job as well. Post one liners like "____ wins" is a joke. If you're going to that, then why the hell did you sign up in the first place. And if you sign up as a judge, you should be responsible to check in here and there and respond to the participants questions, or complaints. Some of you guys are taking this too literal, like "oh you're not supposed to claim you're the best, show me" blah blah blah. Go watch a rap battle. That's what people do all the time. Unfortunately, I don't think this is gonna be much of a success (no offense). Most of the fault should lay on the judges. But hey, maybe they're just busy or something. Who knows. If so, then mention it and get someone else in as a judge who can do a better job.
 
Okay since noone wants to judge...

Judges of each matchup will be the participants in this tournament who ARE NOT in the matchup they are judging (therefore the only matchup you CANNOT vote for is your own). Huevon will vote on any tie break, I will not vote.

So vote on.

And if there are any complaints about judging, I am perfectly willing to address any concerns or extra questions. I think Lost One made a good point; I won't be brief with my future assessments.

Huevon is now required to answer in essay format...so please do express your complaints. Huevon must also justify his reasons with such arguments like pace. :D
 
Shucks, I missed out on the rap battles. I should really check this forum more often lol.
 
Thanks guys. I usually check around here about once a day though I don't post as much as I used to and if I do it's in the Raptors Forum. But starting a new tourney sounds good to me.
