Gary Payton said we should let Yao score and make sure we stop everyone else. I actually like that idea. We can outscore Yao.

Bad idea, that's how we got in a huge hole in the first place. We need to attack Yao and get him in foul trouble. Drive to the hoop, LMA, Greg..throw it all at him. Speed the tempo of the game up. Get the crowd into the game early and attack attack attack. 3 or 4 straight Yao takes to the blazers will kill their momentum.

Yao didn't really kill us. He got tired as the game went on and then got into foul trouble. What killed us was everyone else. Brooks kept burying us with long shots. We gotta shut that fella down. If we give Yao too much special attention, they have players like Brooks, Battier, Artest, and Wafer who can KILL us from outside.

Early on he went and killed Joel early on, which killed the crowd and the momentum of the team as a whole. It was just very discouraging to watch Yao drop step, dunk and get easy shot after easy shot. We have to let their guards brick early jumpers while they are cold out the gates...by letting Yao get hot early, it allows the rest of the team to have more comfort later in the game.

Yes, Yao threw a punch, but that was it. Roy responded with a punch of his own. 4 straight drives. 8 quick points. But then we fell apart.

They only get comfort even we panic. If we don't overreact to Yao's post play and stay on their shooters, they'll never get off.

I'm not saying to double Yao, I think that's a bad idea. But you're saying "let him score", which is what the strategy was in the Shaq-led lakers....let Shaq score and let the other guys beat you. Yeah...didn't really work all that well....

Shaq is wayyyy better than Yao. And the Rockets don't have anyone who is as good as Kobe was back then. When the Pistons beat the Lakers in 04, Shaq had some huge games, but the Pistons won as a team.

it's just you and I, agent. where's everyone else?? not everyone can be at the game; already off the bandwagon?

Right now I'm on the phone with Comcast as they've decided with the end of the NBA regular season, they were going to discontinue not only League Pass but NBA-TV. I'm going nuts right now with these people.

Yeah, but the Rockets have EXCELLENT role players. And Yao has been amazing. Its really hard to hate this team.

I'll be in and out, don't have a laptop in the TV room so I'm going in and out of the office...will check in sporadically unless I can steal my boss' laptop during the game.

Wow, I wonder who the refs want to win? God this is fucking horrible.

I thought the refs have been ok so far. They are looking more to dampen criticizim from game 1. so they're calling it tight.

LMA needs to get his shit going

I've seen one bad call. The rest of them have been pretty decent. I like this crew a hell of a lot better than Game 1's refs.

Wow. I never see Joel make a move. Good on him.

I question Nate's substitution patterns there. Pryz stayed in too long IMO as did Batum...

Now with 2 and change, you expect Oden to warm up properly? Not only that, just the flow of the game wasn't all that great.

I have been okay with the reffing. Pretty even. Some calls I didn't like, but it has been pretty even.
