Yao is pouting.
Although there was bad reffing, you guys played a great game and got the win. No excuses made. Gotta love Brooks' effort in the last minute
Jesus, wtf, Brooks is not THAT good.

Nice that we won but look at this and tell me that's not a recipe for disaster 9 games out of 10:

Nate, Blake, and Roy need to include the rest of the team. Depth is what got us here, not just Roy and Aldridge saving our bacon.

I hope I don't sound like Mixum, but I didn't feel very good about this win. The biggest thing that bothered me was that despite Nate insisting on going inside, despite Yao and Mutumbo being out for long stretches, only Roy attacked the basket.

The other thing that bothers me is seeing Brooks almost beat us again. We seem to really have missed out on finding a quick moving, quick thinking PG, passing on Brooks, passing on Mario Chalmers, picking Taureen Green over Ramon Sessions after working them both out.
I know. It's scary. Rudy was barely involved in the offense.
Only Roy had the ball, and he wasn't sharing it.
No such thing as a bad win, particularly in the play-offs, but there was nothing about this game to give us any hope for winning in Houston.
BTW, I have been defending Outlaw all season - but tonight he played like crap.

If he would have, we'd have lost.

But the team played their best of the game while he was in, +9.
Some things, particularly team defense, are hard to see when they happen and don't have stats.

This game was more about freak runs than team offense/defense. If you think about it, the Rockets had that freak run at the end.....it was a game of streaks and it just happened to end when the blazers went on their final streak. can't deny it, after their streak, Brooks caught fiyah.
And the Twin Towers was an EPIC FAILURE. not saying it won't work next game but tonight, when the rockets are shooting that good, its not gonna work.
