I hate Iguodola.

So overrated.

[/QUOTE]

Yes, but it was thanks to that same overratedness that the sixers went 20-16 in the games he played in after AI left.

That's what happens when you are the only crappy team not tanking. False hope.

True, most teams did start tanking with 40 games left.

Most of the 76ers success was finally ridding themselves of AI, gaining a legit PF in Joe Smith (they literally had no-one before that...Steven Hunter? wtf?), and finally getting a PG who could run the offense in Andre Miller. Iguodola also benefited from Miller who throws the best lobs in the league, seeing as though Iggy can jump out the gym. He's INCREDIBLY overrated as a defender, too. He also averaged damn near 4 turnovers per game.

While some of that is true- Miller's a capable pg, Smith comes somewhere near approximating a legit pf, Iguodala averaged near 4 to's post-AI - the fact is he was the star of a team that immediately started playing .500 ball post-AI with a very weak cast, and averaged something like 20/6/6.

When AI was out and Iguodola was the star, they went 0-8.

Watching Iguodola all year, he is just very overrated, and not someone I would want as a main piece on my team.
