QUOTE (BG7 Lavigne)

Yi probably wouldn't play in Denver either. And he won't be the next Dirk.

Yes he would. The whole point of including that Wiki entry was to show that there is a strong asian population in Denver.

QUOTE (ly_yng)

I'd be interested in moving Al Jefferson, if I can get a good SG or SF in return, and maybe a pick or two depending on who you're offering. PM me.
Probably should say that this is only true if I can make the deal before I make my pick.

thoughts on my team?

PG - Ramond Felton
SG -
SF - Rashard Lewis
PF - Kevin Garnett
C - Ben Wallce
Garnett runs the offense. No need for Felton when there are better guards available.
How did the Timberwolves make out with Mike James and Marko Jaric?
Perhaps Mike James and Marko Jaric aren't very good? Garnett is a creator. Felton is useless.
How is Felton useless? He can create for Lewis, occasionaly Wallace and whoever my SG will be. When the T-Wolves made it to to the playoffs KG had Cassell who got him the ball. IMO it can't hurt to have a play making PG.

Trade to announce:

Denny Crane's Phoenix Suns recieve

pick #100 (4th) and pick #141 (5th)

Golden State Warriors recieve

Shane Battier and pick #207 (7th)

QUOTE (Denny Crane)

Agree to the trade.

Good dealing with you sir. Plenty of good players available, you should make out quite well.

I'm sure Shane will be a responsable, sober role model for my younger players...

I thought that TJ Ford was a guy that is only 24, averaged 14 and 8 last year. Came up clutch a few times for the Raptors last year. Pretty solid defensivel.yHe's arguably the fastest player in the NBA.

He's no Tony Parker but he's a very good point gaurd. I think a trio of Ford/Manu/Duncan is pretty solid.

Nope, sorry.

TJ can settle for second fastest. The fastest plays for the Warriors.

Having TJ Ford paired with Duncan isn't too smart. It's a contrast of style.

Battier used to have a wrinkly head, now not so much. Do you think he botoxed his dome?

Shane 'Wrinkly Head' Battier to Shane 'Botox' Battier.

Contrast of styles seems to be the name of the game in this draft. Granted I've been trying to move away from that.

Well that's no reason to pick players and fall into the crowd. Contrasting styles of play isn't too smart when forming a team, which is why a lot of teams won't be strong.

Ford is too brittle, too small and weak defensively in the halfcourt, and most importantly is a horrible shooter.

He needs to play on a team that plays fast and can afford to use him for 30 MPG max.

I think Jason Terry would be perfect to play with Duncan.

Brandon Roy, too, but he was taken pretty early.

If someone has an outstanding pick and their new pick comes up, can we auto-skip them? (see RaptorsFan#1)

As long as there is at least 5 picks between the outstanding one and the new pick. I don't want to see someone get auto-skipped on the wrap arounds.

No one ever wants to be skipped on the wrap-around. RIGHT GHOTI?

Change of subject time.

You know what I really hate? When you take a poop that's so big that you need to break it up with a wire hanger to make sure it doesn't clog the toilet.

QUOTE (Kid Chocolate)

Dalembert is a weirdo.

One time I was taking a final exam and I was sitting by the window and I kept hearing a buzzing. I looked out the window and Sam Dalembert was by himself between two buildings playing with a remote control toy car. By himself, just playing with an RC car. 7 foot tall guy by himself in an alley of campus playing with an RC car. Mind boggling.

you can't be serious. really. why would samuel dalembert be near your school?
