It's not bad for a first one. It's kind of hard on the eyes with those squares, and it's hard to tell who the render is. I thought it was Chien Ming-Wang at first. And I think you spelled "Phil" wrong.Try for a bigger render, and add some effects. Read some tuts in here, they help a lot. Text is kinda "meh" as well. You have potential though, keep trying.

Defiently okay for a first sig...keep improving, experiment with lighting and build with that. Render should never be that small...
