Well we will know by how they handle it. If they move Blake and keep Bayless, then I see that as saying they think that Bayless will come along, but it is going to take a few years to get him there. If they send Bayless packing, they don't have the patience for it. If they don't send any of them packing, then were going to have playing time issues that could spill over to Rudy as well.

Or, keep Blake as #2 and Bayless as #3.

BlazersBlog (aka the guy who runs the blog on OLive) says Miller has signed an offer.

CIP on 95.5 says offer is 3 years, $20mil

Not bad actually, since the third year is a team option. I'm pretty much ok with this, although i was worried before I saw the option.

I'm guessing at least one year is a team option. $6.6mil/year isn't bad for Miller. He was only offered one year from Philly, so it might be two year guaranteed with the third year an option, which would be perfect.

Oops, didn't see the details. I like this. I just hope we can come up with a succession plan for our PG after two years.

I'm glad they are doing this early so hopefully he can come in and bond with his new teammates.

Gains: Penetration, Post up ability, Size, and Open Court Strength. Take some load off of Roy.

Losses: Outside shooting.

Unsure if he is an improvement defensivly, my guess is it would be very hard not to, at least a little bit.

I hate the deal, but I hope it works out of the best.

Since I don't have any choice in the matter.

At least Miller is better then Blake and Bayless. Actually better then the two of them put together.

Please Mr Miller, don't suck balls.

From 82games:

Blake is +7.3 on offense; -0.5 on defense
Miller is +1.5 on offense; -3.7 on defense

This may show that Miller is a better defender than Blake, but there are a lot of other factors that can affect the numbers.
