Yes, there is a movie out in theaters called "United 93", however due to the rise in gas prices I will not fork over the $7-8 to see it. Call me a cheap ass. However, A&E did show their original movie "Flight 93" on tonight (and it is on for an encore later tonight at midnight central time).I watched the movie and it got me pretty emotional. It really makes you think back about that day and all the events that unfolded. It truely was a tragic day that I will never forget. Ever. Honest to god, that day still breeds anger in me. I'm still angry, I'm still fuming mad over what happened on that day. When I see the footage or when I watched this movie it just reminded me of that. The general public isn't reminded enough of the events on 9-11.Anyways, I got off topic there for a second. This movie shows the courage, the bravery and the heart of those on board Flight United 93. Once they found the terrorists were bluffing about the bomb and they were going on a suicide mission, they decided to act and take over the cockpit. Those guys saved hundreds of lives by making that unselfish move. The fact that they can't get funding for a memorial makes me angry, as well. The crew and the passengers fought the terrorists and saved many, many lives. What do they need to do to be remembered? They are heros and they show us that everyday people can be heros. They were husbands, fathers and sons and those son of bitches took them away. What the hell more do you have to do for a memorial?I suggest you guys either check out United 93 in theaters (with your family, not your friends) or watch the encore of Flight 93 on A&E tonight.RIP Flight United 93 and all of those innocent who died on that day

I'm Canadian so this stuff really doesn't make a big deal for me but that is horrible.

I doubt I'll see it, and 9/11 didn't affect me personally really, so I can't say I care that much. Call me an unpatriotic ***hole but it's the truth.

I don't know anybody who died, and I'm not the most compassionate person so honestly I just don't care. I found it interesting when it was happening, I never felt anger or grief.

Yeah I'm ignorant. What's not interesting about planes crashing into towers?

So when you first saw it you just said to yourself, hey thats cool?

Fathers, mothers, wives, husbands, sons and daughters. How in the world can you find that interesting? One of the worst days in American history and you find it interesting?Quite honestly, I am disgusted at your lack of compassion. We have men and women overseas who are willing to die, and have died, because of that day and here you are saying you found it cool and interesting.

Yes I am. I'm disgusted at your ass kissing of our corrupt government but I don't bi*ch about that.

Yes our government is corrupt but how does that relate to thousands of people passing away?

Already saw it, and still think its bullsh**. i think thats a disgrace to all the ppl that died on that day. Not talking about the movie Flight 93, but the documentary Fab posted

I disagree with the budget and with the way he is handling the immigration issues. The One Child Left Behind Act was a mistake. Most of our debates on here are all about foreign policy, and I actually agree with our current foreign polcy plan.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>hey you wanna think about ithttp://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8...hange+2&pl=truea documentary proving 9/11 is a hoax.</div>I do not listen to conspiracy theories anymore. I've seen too many of them and they are all wrong. They either have the wrong facts or they twist the facts to make it seem that the government did this. We have recordings from people on the airplanes that say the planes were hijacked by middle eastern men. We have witnesses and footage of planes hitting the WTC and we hae witnesses that saw the plane hit the Pentagon.Do you really think this administration is capable of doing something on this large of scale? There would be a leak and we would all find out about it. There is no way they would be able to keep it secret and away from the media and public. Someone would spill the beans because it isn't right.Plus, Al-Queda accepted responsiblity for the attacks.

Alright let's not start another 9/11 hoax thread, we have a topic for this in the debate section. Also, the current administration's foreign policy is absurd, who the hell agrees with that sh*t?

9/11 changed everyone's lives, whether you had someone you knew who died in the towers or not. 9/11 triggered this huge chain of actions that will change the world forever. The United States 10 years ago was a totally different place than it is now - I can't possibly go through all of the affects 9/11 has had on the world - but the most obvious is the war. This war has cost the United States so much money, that we will have to eventually pay back; and guess what, your parents won't be paying it - you will, we're the generation taht will have to pay for this garbage. Once this thing is overwith, which wont be for a very long time, we will pay for this multi-trillion dollar war. There's one way 9/11 affected you.and how about the minor things like the routine of traveling to other countries - that has obviously changed. - The Patriot Act I and II - Both are acts that were established because of 9/11 and to 'protect' the united states from internal terrorist activity. The Patriot Act if you do not know is basically a short way of saying - we are taking away some of your most intimate rights. For example, your converstations, whether it be on cell phone, home phone, any phone can be tapped. Your emails, your messaging, can all be accessed if deemed necessary. Credit card companies will be forced to release information about you if necessary - they will even check your dammn library card to see what books/movies you've been checking out - your privacy has been stripped. That's obviously affected everyone. Now if you want me to continue, just let me know - but those are just 2 things that prove 9/11 affects everyone - not only the victims families.

You're right, it effects how high the tax is on my flights now, other than that I don't give a sh*t. Call me ignorant or whatever the F*ck you want, that's just how I feel. I don't give a sh*t about this country because of the people who run it, and this particular event didn't effect me like it did some other people, so I don't care about it.If I had personally lost a loved one in the attack then I would have very strong feelings about the day, but I was fortunate enough not to and as a result it's pretty unimportant to me.

So you could care less about all the people that died?Get out of this country. I never heard such disrespect.

I care a lot more about the millions that have died in Congo over the past 7 years who are completely ignored and forgotten by the world then a few thousand Americans who died in terrorist attacks.Who the F*ck cares if the people who died were Americans or not? I don't care about Americans, there's pletny of worse events going on daily, but people in this country don't give a F*ck because they weren't born here, so I in turn choose not make such a big deal when Americans die.

wow wow wow wow,I have never read anything like this..just wow.

No, I just choose not to make a big deal about it. I feel that there have been much worse abominations to humanity that have occured over the past decade or so then 9/11, so I'm not going to treat the people who died in those attacks as martyrs and pay no attention to others who have died under much worse circumstances.

I explained that.I do care about them, but to me every person that has died as a result of evil should be treated and remembered equally, and if you disregard their nationality and the circumstances in which they were killed, they're less more important than a black women in Africa who was brutally raped and murdered by a militia to me.
