Isn't Kelly under contract to Eagled though? Why/how would he leave?
 
I'll see if he wants to be hired as a Special Advisor of my Fantasy Football team next year too... we'll see how it goes *Crosses Fingers*
 
He's got a good thing going on in Philly. The owner should make sure he stays put.

Yep. No impending sanctions, as far as the eye can see!
 
I hear there is a big market for nfl coaches to leave successful situations to downgrade to non successful college situations
 
It floors me how Duck fans still suck up to this guy after he bailed on them at the first sign he might get caught cheating...

That's not really true but you can spin it how you want.

Kelly left the program stronger than when took over as head coach. His success at Oregon was based on his coaching talent.

Is OSU a stronger program from when Riley took it over again? Really?

Kelly is pushing football forward in new directions while the game has passed Riley by.
 
I hate the ducks and you have to give Kelly props. The guy is a fantastic coach. Probably the best either Oregon school will ever see. He just gets football

Yes and no. Yes in the sense that the stadium is better and the practice facility is better, but no in the sense that they're still sucking ass in recruiting and winning games.
 
Florida has the ability to back up a dump truck of cash, the ability to recruit Florida (and play SEC East football) and he could probably ask for 10yr, 70M and get it.
 
Of course they will reach out to him. He is one of the best coaches in the world

That being said, I met Cindy Crawford years ago at a beach and reached out for a kiss. She said no, which I expect Chip to do to Florida as well.

If there was no danger of NCAA sanctions on the horizon, Kelly would still be cashing Uncle Phil's checks and coaching an amazingly good (but REALLY silly looking) college football team. He bailed because he thought the ship was sinking. The fact that the ship didn't actually sink doesn't make him any less a rat for leaving when he did.
