French authorities issued an arrest warrant for American cyclist Floyd Landis for hacking in to the tour de France doping computers? This is going to be interested.....haven't looked for a link yet...

If he actually did hack into the computer system he is toast.

He was toast anyway. I remember watching the live feed of the stage where he had his remarkable comeback. I was thoroughly disappointed that he had doped.

That Phonak team had terrible coaching. If Landis would have been under Bruyneel, he would have won the Tour fair and square.

Wow, I bet hacking into French computers is tough. Just hit Enter and it will surrender all its data.

i remember reading an article from an espn columnist who hypothesized that every world class cyclist was doping because its so pervasive in cycling culture and the physical demands of the sport require it.

C'mon! That's silly.

It only works if you have a German keyboard... ;)

Pretty sad. I've met the guy multiples times. He is really down to earth, quiet type of guy. I don't feel bad for him for doping, but I do feel bad for him because of how embarrassed he still is about it.

Ultimately, Floyd has to take responsibility for his own actions, but Phonak was a dirty, dirty, dirty team with really bad management. If I had to guess, because Phonak was considering dropping the team and Floyd was pressured to dope to get a podium spot (he hit the wall the day before).

It's really too bad. Coming from a Mennonite home, he has a really cool story.

I remember watching his signature ride almost all the way through, and thinking it was the greatest I'd ever seen. Shame it was drug-aided.
