He's Not a PG but his Assist-Numbers compared to European basketball are amazing, Of course some of this is also playing 39MPG (In a 40MPG league). Too many turnovers, though.

Get some!

Freeland probably won't get much burn in this one. Unicaja is playing scrubs and running away with it.

Wow! He shot 13 for 6. That's good, right?

A much better slate of games today (Thurs) with clash of titans PAOK vs. CSKA Moskow and Barcelona vs. always tough Montpaschi Siena. And, OF COURSE, Nancy vs. Caja Laboral, with one of my fave non-NBA PGs, the now-long-in-the-tooth Pablo Prigioni, but also Warrior Reggie Williams and Wizard Kevin Seraphim (as well as Euroleague MVP candidate Teletovic). These guys (in Spain, showing why Rudy's in no hurry for the lockout to end) summarize the games:

Batum gets 21/9/4 in huge upset win over Spanish powerhouse Caja Laboral. Nancy had no business winning that! I watched the last few minutes and Batum hit a clutch fadeaway when Caja Laboral looked like they might come back.

Wow - bad day for Spanish teams not called Barcelona: Real Madrid loses to Partizan Belgrade (home of Pecovic, Macvan and Acie Law) on choked Sergio Llull FT. Rudy didn't have a great game but he did hit a huge three to put Real up by 2 late in the game. But then he fouled Acie Law leading to the FTs that put Partizan up by 2. Meanwhile Real still seem reluctant to play Ibaka.

Nic is seriously beasting in Euroleague games. Avg RKG of 29.8! That's higher thank AK47's, for best in the league.

Why can't McMillan bring this out?

Same question for Rudy.

Nic is pretty much regulated to the corner. Very little movement in Nate's system.

Btw, It's awesome to see that Nic is developing some actual post moves!

Practically any coach would bring more out of Batum (or Rudy) than McMillan.

Good enough for MVP of week 4 (video)!

Some badass moves in that clip. Coast-to-coast, abusing guys in the post, a wicked one-handed lob pass....he's starting to give me hope that he has real star potential.

It's all about Confidence with Rudy, Sarge was the confidence killer.

(I'm guessing you meant "relegated"...) I'm not sure that there's that much more movement in Nancy's system - it's just that Nic is playing the Brandon Roy role. If Roy gets amnestied, that role will be vacant in Portland...

If I wasn’t such a biased bastard towards teams’ records, Nic might have that number one spot. But SLUC Nancy is only 2-2, so poor little Nicolas finds himself ranked at two. Batum, with a little bit of help from his teammates, took down formerly undefeated Caja Laboral this week. I didn’t predict that, you didn’t predict that, and Nicolas’ favorite aunt didn’t even predict that. He’s an absolute monster right now and might want to start getting comfortable near the top of this list. Sorry for not putting you in the Race the first time around, Nicolas. You made me look like a fool.
