<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>DeSagana Diop knows the threat malaria poses to his homeland. More than 3,000 African children die each day from the mosquito-born disease. "I lost friends and relatives to malaria," he says. "Every night, you were just lying there, defenseless."? On Tuesday, the Nets will donate $10 from each ticket purchased to Nothing But Nets, the appropriately named UN charity that sends mosquito-proof nets to Africa.</div>

It's great what Diop is doing for Africa. It seems players that come from Africa are the most willing to give back to their home country...probably because they need it the most.

I feel bad though, because they probably won't sell too many tickets.

so how much will they donate? Like $2000.

... The Nets sell more than 200 tickets per game.

Last year it was over 15,000K so it would be around $150,000.
