I don't actually want to go back in time, but I do want to go back to policies that were in place that did more for people and were better for society. When I say better, I mean being up to the challenge of putting a man on the moon when we had virtually none of the technology to do so, schools with that new math that graduated kids that could read, and that sort of thing.

Oh, you want to go back to the 50s under Eisenhower when we had higher corporate and individual tax rates that didn't produce inevitable deficits.

Well...I feel chivalrous, and I've been beating you too much, so alright, you win, but don't expect this all the time.

We sure can't afford a moon program after decades of Republican deficits.

Yeah, we bought stock in GM for 3x what a moon program would cost. And so far it's been a big loser of an investment.

We'll get it back. Meanwhile we save millions of jobs and unemployment compensation paid by the remaining taxpayers.

I''ve been meaning to tell you. About 2 times a day you mention the $800 billion stimulus as an example of Obama's spending. You know those were loans, so why do you pretend it was an expense?

Are you confusing stimulus (ARRA) with TARP?

Sorry. I was reading your Washington Examiner series in the other thread. It has so little substance against Obama that there's nothing to defend, so I'm not posting to it.

I think the Government having a say in my health care decisions is having power over my life...literally.

As for abortion or gay marriage (any kind of marriage at all for consenting adults for that matter), I'm 100% with you.

Abortion is a healthcare decision.
