As to the entertainers, I understand they come out with dueling walkers and sing. The first few rows get spit on a lot, but hey, at one time they were actually popular. Kind of, anyway.

To be honest, I was more interested in seeing Boz Skaggs. I had recently seen one of his live performances on Palladia. The dude still has the pipes. Plus, his band is impeccably tight. Anyway, I was into the speed dating scene at the time of ticket purchase and thought the winery/concert gig might be a nice pull. Now that I'm settled down ( ), the GF and I would rather go to the beach.

Not at all. As it turned out, there were virtually no available hotels in The Dalles or Hood River that night. That didn't sit well with me. She actually suggested we camp out that night (which we still might do if the tix don't sell). I was more inclined to sell the tix, then head down to the beach a day earlier. We already have plans to go there on the 18th for a few days.
