OK so after painstaking analysis of progressive and digressive racing suspensions, I narrowed my choice to King, Fox and Icon. All are top suspension lifts for the Tacoma.
Fox dropped out because the steel construction of the housings rust and require too much maintenance. Both King and Icon using aluminum housings, and build reserve reservoir shocks with adjustment values to dial in soft to hard. The King coilovers start at the bottom (softest) and you dial in stiffness, whereas the ICON design starts in the middle and you can tune up or down. Kings are progressive...stiffen at speed, ICON is digressive, softening at the extreme of the g scale.
Given my daily commute length, digressive is a better fit. Lastly, ICON builts complete systems including rear leaf packs and UCAs.
So I went with a stage 6 with tubular UCAs.
