I work in a field where the state sets a cap on what I earn per hour.
I cannot all the sudden work less and make the same money because my job is 100% on working.
If I don't work, I don't get paid. My salary isn't something that can arbitrarily change.
I.e., if the amount money allotted per hour is $35, I get 35-x dollars per hour. My boss/company I work for gets the rest for their costs.
The state already is trying to find a way to eliminate my field. There is a maximum compensation set for my job. to change it so 30 hours a week is the same pay as 40, would basically eliminate the funding for my job.
so no, no matter what you say this program/idea would not work with my job.
Not sure why this is so hard of a concept to get.
