more to come.

Never felt a thing, but then I think there are a 150 or more quakes a year out there. Never feel any of them. The ocean floor rises about there from 2000 plus fathoms to around 1500 fathoms with a few sea mounts a bit less.

All these report come with the line, " There was no tsunami threat from any of the quakes." No kidding! I can't imagine a the ocean floor uplifting enough to cause a displacement event and with sufficient velocity to causes a surface disruption (Tsunami) in water that deep. The Tsunami that got Japan a couple years ago was caused by a quake that uplifted the sea floor along a shallow
plane of about 100 fathoms to zero fathoms almost 100 miles wide. Some thing like, a quick shift of a very large gold pan sloshing the water over the rim.
