What needs to happen is the prosecution of every cop who ever commits a crime, no matter how small, and any cop who is part of a cover-up in any way. This would result in the eventual replacement of the majority of cops.

What needs to happen is every cop should be required to have a solid grasp of The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, and Civil Rights in general.

Cops need to wear cameras at all time that they can't turn off. That alone would solve so much crime that goes on from not only the police but the person they're dealing with.

I taught my kids to interact with cops the same as they would when approached by any other armed stranger on the street.

Observe their actions and react accordingly.
