I can't believe, when we were getting killed on the glass, Frank refused to play Sean Williamsor Magloire, who are our two best rebounding bigs. His substitutions always suck. Mark Jackson knows more than this clown. He's just clueless. How can you dominate a second quarter, and then come out flat the 3rd quarter? (Maybe it's Frank's genius starting lineup.) How can you ride a cold RJ when Carter is shooting lights out? It's just stupid. I hate losing to inferior teams. And don't tell me how great the Wizards play. We friggin gave them that game with our stupid mistakes.

No Willams = No reason for me to keep watching when the game becomes unwatchable.

In all seriousness though, it makes sense. Only real positive so far this season is now apparently out of the rotation. Awesome!

Nets fever... catch it!

Marc Jackson for coach. Players love him and he atleast knows what he is taking about.

Guys, can anybody explain me how in the world Doc Rivers has changed from the worst coach last season to one of the best this season? Maybe it's about product you have, not so much how you use it. If you have crap, it's tough to eat it even with honey.

yeah but you've got the ingredients for a good meal!

no. It is partially about deferring to your talent, and partly not being a micro-managing moron. Over coaching is Frank's problem. He has suffered his whole life to become a head coach in the NBA, and now, it's our turn. Doc Rivers on the other hand, just won the lottery, all he has to do is not fuck up.

Not true, all you need is some vomit.

No you don't.

You have a mixed bag of ingredents that wouldn't make a good meal if an Iron Chef prepared them.

Morimoto-san for coach.

Not true. Jason Kidd is a fine wine who gets better with age. Vince, and RJ taste delicious. Sean is an acquired taste who grows on you the more you have him.

Boone played very well, BTW.

Agreed. As I watched him play, I thought back as to how you said he was starting to get better and better. He's beginning to pick up his play from the end of last year's regular season.

I wonder how his shoulder feels now.

Now, wouldn't it have been great to see him on the court with Sean? That woulda been a great defensive duo to see. For all the times Josh was too slow to pick up a cutting player, Sean coulda blocked/altered that otherwise easy layup.

"Kidd's just in a horrible system that doesn't play to his strengths at all" just something I picked up from another site, I mean I blame Frank for his bone headed coaching moves and I also blame the players for tonights loss but like Mark Jackson said it just looks like they swing the ball around until someone take a bad shot this teams double teams are ineffective Mark Jackson also seems to subtly takes a jab at Frank's coaching during the game

This is a thread hijack.

I've noticed this, and I don't like it.

It's one thing to criticize and analyze, and it's quite another to start blatantly hyping yourself for management jobs.

His job is to call the game, let him interview for coaching gigs on his own time.

I thought he made an off-handed swipe at "the guys in suits", but then brought it somewhere else.

I agree with you on that do it on your own time, I just noticed he is always taking lil jabs tonight wasn't the 1st time

He made an off handed swipe alright it was at the coach lol him and Chris questioned why Sean didn't get in the game at all after Butler got the and 1 late in the game

When Carino asked him if he was going to pull a Griffey, Sr. and play with his son, he said he was only coming back "in a suit and tie".

I've also noticed less criticism of "effort" and more X and O talk combined with those swipes at Frank. (All he used to talk about was whether a guy should go under a screen or switch.)

I often feel as if I'm actually watching him interview during the game.

Yeam he is definitely taking swipes at Frank and his rotations, Starting line ups everything

In his defense, Frank's insistance in starting Malik Allen makes me want to turn on the game at 8:15.

Right on cue! Today I tuned in with 3 something minutes left in the first quarter in order to see Sean play. Well, I guess if everything goes wrong, that means everything

jackson isnt wrong though! everything he says is correct! i think he would be a great coach for this team the players love him and he could actually tell vince to stop being so lazy and i think vince would listen to him.

boone and williams must play together!! wtf! i been saying this all year. you boone for his size and rebounding and williams for the defensive presence. now way butler would have been on the glass like he was with boone and williams there. collins minutes should be around 5 a game.

exit frank - enter jackson!

Amen to this thread! I'm not watching this team again until I hear that Allen and Collins are no longer our starting 4 and 5. An infant could understand that this is why we are down after every single 1st quarter. I am D.O.N.E. done. This madness must end!

a starting front court of marc jackson and linton johnson would have been better...

linton johnson has some nice game for the Hornets

What do you guys think as to having an ex-player as a head coach as opposed to someone...like Frank?

The problem with Mark Jackson is that I don't see him commanding respect and obedience from his players (obedience is a strong word, admittedly). If I had a dime for everytime the players clowned on him while he was trying to be professional and do his job I'd have enough money to buy out Jason Collins.
