...why, why must it always be Stanford?
A glance through history shows an impressive, if not very depressing, run of years where Furd has completely spoiled Oregon's plans.

1954, 1964, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2009, 2012...so much pain where Stanford played the role of party-pooper perfectly.

So before heading down on the farm for hopefully a nice revenge win Thursday, we thought it would be important to recap some of the pain to get the blood boiling.

If UW can put up 30 on Stanford I think we can do 40.

Although Stanford is a team built to beat us, I simply think we are too good this year for them. Unless we implode with turnovers and they can muster 5 7+ minutes drives, we take this one.

Since the offseason this game has been spoken of as the game of the year, and Stanford's BCS bowl invite and shot at defending their Pac 12 title hangs on winning it. Do you really think those eggheads weren't already maxed out on motivation?

DAT said he feels like his team should score at least 40, which is 2 TDs below what they've averaged. Seems like pretty tame trash talking to me. When told of DAT's quote, David Shaw seemed to agree saying... "I've seen them play," he said. "I have no problem with him saying that."
