Sources with the Phelps family are reporting that (The Reverend) Fred Phelps Sr. is in hospice in Topeka and likely to pass soon. Phelps is the former head of the Westboro Baptist Church.

Phelps was excommunicated from the WBA last year. This has been revealed by two of Phelps' sons who are also estranged from the church. The details of Phelps' excommunication are not yet known.

Religion of peace.

Yeah, they should just let him rot in prison for all the people he's killed. But seriously, I can't stand WBC and they go against everything Jesus commanded. They make Christians look bad because being a follower of Christ is about LOVE not hate.

They excommunicated that Jesus guy years ago.

Church of Satan is going to turn him gay, neat

I hear he enjoys mass protests at funerals.

It's the least we can do for him.

As for the thread title question, you can't change what you never had.

On the contrary, there should be no one at his funeral, protesting or the reporting of it. He's not worth the effort.

That entire "church" is nothing more than a bunch of lawyers who try to provoke people into attacking them.

Killed? Huh?

The Westboro Baptist Church's stance on homosexuality, and their view of God being angry and wrathful is no more contrary to the Bible than the view that God is love. It's actually more in line with the Bible than the modern-watered down pansy version of Christianity.

You worship a God that is going to torture most of humanity for eternity, and you say he "is love" so go figure that one out.
