Isn't it a bit unusual to have our players scrimmage against FAs? I like it, but I don't remember it happening before.

Who else are they supposed to scrimmage in the off-season?

Here's a highlight in which it was coincidentally against Mo Harkless.

He may have been dunked on... hard, but Mo seemed like the only one who played anything resembling defense on that play. He even got a hand on the ball as KJ was about to finish.

This is not a workout, but a training camp signing:
Michael Scotto: 10-year NBA veteran Rodney Stuckey will participate in a veteran mini-camp with the Portland Trail Blazers, a league source told The Athletic.

We have Lillard, McCollum and Baldwin already. Why looking at so many guards? Probably Napier not coming back. Do they think Baldwin has enough value now to be included in a trade? Or are they finally thinking of trading McCollum?
(Actually now I see it says "veteran mini-camp", not training camp.... what is that?)

Probably a tryout for either training camp or summer league.

Who was the guy who had "Rodney Stuckey is the future of this league" as his little under-the-name slogan?

Neil is really swinging for the fences

or looking at a solid veteran that can likely be had for a low cost. Amazing how you spin everything negatively. I suppose you thought the Gerald Green signing by Houston was dumb as well?

Rodney Stuckey sucks

He's actually a decent player and for the vet minimum we could do a lot worse. I don't know why posters have issues with tryouts though as how else do you find those bargains and nobody has been signed.

A shitty three point shooting guard in a Terry Stotts offense?

Sign me up.
