RHP - Michael Pineda (1-3, 6.33 ERA)

VS.

RHP - Rick Porcello (5-0, 2.76 ERA)

NOTE: Pineda's only win so far came when the Yankees scored 16 runs in his 1st start despite giving up 6 runs.

Lineups to follow.................

So sad I'll miss it. Heading down to Wildwood in this dreadful weather for my daughter's gymnastics states championship.

^^^ no kidding?...she's that good?

...can she play 3B too?

Hey Vic, I'll be missing it also as I have to attend a surprise 70th birthday party for a friend. I really hate these things.

The Yankees place CC Sabathia on the 15 day DL with a Left Groin Strain and call up Phil Coke to the 25 Man Roster as per Meredith Marakovits.

Pretty cool hope she does well, Wildwood, used to go there as a kid nice memories of that place, ditto Cape May.

So in all likelihood Coke will go to the pen & Nova will now be a starter.

Oh yeah, there's just no stopping us now. Look out AL East.

Now Cashman needs to sign Lincecum and call up Swisher, that'll get it done.

Alex Rodriguez (Hamstring) could potentially return from the DL when eligible on May 19th as per Bryan Hoch.

Tonight's lineup............

CF - Ellsbury (260)
LF - Gardner (247)
1B - Teixeira (225)
C - McCann (267)
DH - Beltran (250
2B - Castro (293)
RF - Hicks (.091)
SS - Gregorius (215)
3B - Torreyes (346)

Yeah, its like they're trying to throw this game, :rotfl:

Don't worry Rick, they will figure out a way to lose somehow. I can't believe that both The Cubs and The White Sox have the best records in The MLB. People in Chicago must be really excited.

And ellsbury limps off with another leg injury and out of the game. Shocker that mr. glass hurt again. 6 weeks on the dl sounds about right

Just got in, no surprises, Yankees losing, Bomb for Big Sloppi, Pinada can't hit a bull in the ass with a shovel, why am I not surprised?

...two horribly bad reads in a row by Hicks on fly balls that should have been caught.

Mr Pineda dodged a huge bullet, that could have been really ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rookie mistake by Shrek, not guarding the plate with a full count, ... go back to Pawtucket,

Someone throw a few beer's on the lame ass, cool IT down....

Miller with a very adventurous 9th but he showed some nads striking out Shrek and Hanley. Looked like McCann and Shrek had a pretty serious conversation on Shreks earlier at bat. Wonder what that was about. Good to see Headley not in the game.

"Some of my best hits, were balls out of the strike zone" - Tony Gwynn

Jacoby Ellsbury has a slight strain in his Hip Muscle and is listed as Day to Day as per Meredith Marakovits.

This guy doesn't play with a hangnail...
You are right Frank he is an injury waiting to happen. I am assuming he will go on the 15 day DL along with CC and Aroid. This team is just getting worse by the day.
