EUGENE, Ore. - She often leads the Ducks with kills on the court, but Alaina Bergsma also has looks that kill.
"I think I am more nervous before matches, just because I am not expected to do anything," she said. "I am just going to show up and give it my best."
Back in April, the junior from Chandler, Ariz., was crowned Miss Lane County USA. None of her teammates even knew about it.
"That's just how I wanted it," Bergsma chuckled.

Now the cat is out of the bag - and Alaina is on the cat walk.
"I do get teased about it some but it's expected, it's very opposite of volleyball and that's partly why I like it," the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Week said.
Bergsma never thought of being a beauty pageant contestant before until her old high school teammate, Kelsey Moore, who plays at UTEP, won Miss Texas USA.
Now the Ducks' outside hitter and serving specialist is preparing to compete against 27-other girls for Miss Oregon USA in November.
"I have a list of 300 questions that I have been running through with people. Normally on stage questions are a very controversial question. Anywhere from medical marijuana to views on views foreign investments in the states."
From pony tails and sneakers to cocktail dresses and heels, Alaina can pull off both looks well.
"I know I am 6-foot-3. I wear heels out a lot," she said. "I like being tall. I like to almost own being tall."
If Alaina wins Miss Oregon USA? The Arizona native will represent the green and yellow.
"I feel like an Oregonian now, just because being a Duck, we have great fans. I feel like being a Duck is always going to be with me because I feel like I am a part of Oregon now."

Posing for some sleezy "photographer" doesn't make you a model, it just makes you an easy mark for people like backroom casting couch.

Sheesh, rough crowd! Not my type...not a fan of looking up at women, but she's cute.
 
HOLY TOLEDO!! I checked out Nate's GF and she is gorgeous. But who was that homely dud she was with. His face looked like 5 miles of bad road.

Don't hate BP.... although I admit that really wasn't a good photo. I could post more but are you really wanting to look at dudes?
