Stop bro. Get rid of all the fucking guns. Bring on the knives.A handgun is far more dangerous in a school than any rifle that is legal to buy without a special ATF permit...
And easier to conceal. Where is the law to ban handguns?
We can't get rid of the fucking guns. You're living in lala land if you think that's even remotely possible.Stop bro. Get rid of all the fucking guns. Bring on the knives.

It couldn't happen if we wanted it to, and half of the country doesn't want to.
That's a hell of a start... But then you have environmentally damaging ammunition everywhere. What if we offered to replace all of them with Nerf versions?
Wisconsin Republicans proposing bill to allow concealed carry in school. What could possibly go wrong?
Wisconsin Republicans proposing bill to allow concealed carry in school. What could possibly go wrong?
Well for starters, who is allowed? Does it specify, or was that conveniently omitted to fill a narrative?
if its only teachers aNd guards, I'm all for it.
BUt your post( without a link for reference) doesn't specify.
Is the bill not specifying or is your post not specifying?
Only people who have been trained and permitted. What this law allows is for people who have concealed carry permits (this is the demographic with the lowest crime rate in the country) to carry in and around schools without being harassed or charged with a felony. It passed
Though the governor will veto it
18 year olds can carry guns in school in Wisconsin, concealed on their person according to republican lawmakers there.
18 year olds who have been trained, tested, and permitted, and had the sheriff approve their status as concealed carriers.18 year olds

So basically crands post is completely missleading….
Got it. Thanks.
From what I can gather, it's only for people who have concealed carry permits. They did also lower the age limit from 21 to 18.So basically crands post is completely missleading….
Got it. Thanks.
This is only partially correct and misleading, just like crands post. Not really
Students are going to be able to carry guns around at school which is fucking stupid
This is only partially correct and misleading, just like crands post.
No, not any student can just conceal carry.
Not even just any 18 year old student.
only 18 year old that have gone through the proper requirements.
This is much different than your and crands post.
id consider this pretty much fake news. But only the right does that.
So basically crands post is completely missleading….
Got it. Thanks.
Almost certainly, as usual. Firearms are prohibited in most schools regardless of concealed carry status. Not sure where it’s outlined in the bill that it will be allowed in schools. This is just sensationalist arithmetic at its finest:
Concealed carry for 18 year olds + some 18 year olds are still in school = now kids are allowed to bring guns to school.
I’m almost certain this is not the case.

It's the case
Thanks for playing
Salon.com is less than nothing as far as sources go.
I didn't say all students
No students should be allowed to carry a gun in school
I don't give two fucks if they have a permit or not.
We were just agreeing the other day about 18 year olds not being mature enough to have guns.
okay and we were. Doesn't change the fact the original post was extremely miss leading leaving the reader to think its a bill for any age student or anyone in a school can carry a gun.
as far as me being fine with it. If the age is 18 and they passed the required tests, etc. then so be it. in a school? Im on the fence.
providing full and detailed information when posting news with a critiquing angle, should always be. Thats my point of contention.
For people who scream fake news is a trump thing then to post misleading info to fit a narrative is disingenuous at best.

It’s not to completely avoid protecting students either. People throw the same tantrums when it’s suggested teachers or principals be allowed to carry. The answer to school shootings is not to arm students.
These guys think it’s ok for guns to be allowed in school? Regardless of training….. it’s a teenager walking around thousands of other teenagers with a gun strapped on em. Jesus Christ how do you defend this!!??
Republicans approving the bills called them a valuable protection of Second Amendment rights
