Thanks to measure 114 gun sales have quadrupled in Oregon. Too Many people to check. There is a backlog of over 37k background checks.

The seller can legally sell to the buyer if the background check takes longer than 3 days. And any check that isn't automatic is now taking weeks.

So now every person who applies and doesn't get immediately approved or denied can just go collect their gun in 3 days if the seller wants to sell.
