Well of course. That's why I support making changes that will actually benefit everyone and that we could actually get passed now. Without a constitutional amendment, and which would stand up to even the most extremist courts.

Unlike the silly BS we just barely passed here in Oregon that has increased gun sales hundreds of percent and overwhelmed the system so that anybody who isn't approved or rejected right away can get their gun if the store doesn't want to wait weeks/months for the results to come back.

My proposal would have none of those drawbacks and likely be more effective.

That's ignorance for you. A 3 year old can not chamber a round. A gun should always have the safety on, or at least not have a round chambered.

Plus a weapon or knife or any other dangerous tool should not be within reach of a 3 year old.

Stupid people paying an incredibly high price for their stupidity. Freaking sucks.

Unfortunately stupid people have kids, and those kids far too often end up paying the price.

We need better access to quality education in general. And regarding gun safety, I advocate for a generous tax credit for people who take firearm safety courses.

I've seen no realistic scenario in which guns are eliminated from the equation in the US. Or even severely limited.

I don't give much consideration to fairy tale scenarios.
