Protest at ICE prison in Texas where men, women and children are held, demanding release of the children. An attorney happened to be present at the time. He showed Rachel Maddow a drawing made by one of his clients, a five year old girl, depicting herself, her twin sister and their parents behind barbed wire crying. They have been held there 8 months. They entered the country seeking political asylum. An immigration judge denied bond since they don't have financial resources. They could be there for years waiting for a hearing.

The water is putrid and food has insects in it. There is no medical care.
