We have the data. Undocumented immigrants commit all crime at lower rates than US citizens.

Undocumented immigrants literally lower the instance of crime per capita in the United States. They pay taxes into the system to support our services, are less likely to be able to receive tax rebates, and commit less crime than Americans.

There is literally no reason to target them (beyond getting them documented) other than to be cruel or try to distract the general population.

One thing Bingo got right. I do love poor hard working people who come here and do tough jobs our economy depends on. I love how they teach their children to work hard, get education. I love how many start small business and join military. I love the food and music and art they bring that enriches American culture. I love them much more than entitled bigoted rich guy who assaults women, doesn't pay employees, cheats on taxes and builds wealth on one scam after another while whining about how persecuted he is.

Yeah, you’re right. Trump has never been hounded by Democrat prosecutors, or treated unfairly by Democrat judges, or convicted by all-Democrat juries. Democrats never tried to impeach him—not once!—and they never indicted him even once after he left office—much less four times! They didn’t make up the Russia Collusion hoax, or send the FBI to go through his wife’s underwear drawer, or try to take him off the ballot in Colorado or Maine, or try to kill him twice. They never lied about what he said in Charlottesville, or on January 6th, and they never wiretapped his campaign in Trump Tower. They never staged a play in Central Park that featured his assassination every night, and the media coverage of him was incredibly fair and balanced. This idea that it was almost totally negative is preposterous! In fact, Trump was never treated any differently than any other president. If Trump and his supporters think differently, they are clearly dreaming. No president or former president would ever be treated in such a hateful and unfair way. That’s just not America!

A Louisiana woman emigrated legally from Iran in 1979. She raised a family. Never broke any law. She was in her garden picking figs with neighborhood children when a van rolled up and she was dragged away. Informed her legal status revoked for no reason whatsoever except to meet Nazi Stephen Miller's daily deportation quota. She has been moved to ICE facility far from home. Facing deportation to country she fled because she wanted to live in a democracy and not theocracy. Repeat, she is a legal immigrant.

Sounds like she's been living here under a stay of deportation since her student visa expired. Totally legal. ICE is just doing whatever the hell they want.

Yes, criminals commit crime. It sucks. And those criminals should be punished.

That has nothing to do with people who are here from other countries not committing crime.

If we're going to deport whole swathes of people every time someone similar to them commits a crime we need to deport everybody because, once again, US citizens commit crime (including violent crime like murder and rape) at higher rates than immigrants. Even at higher rates than undocumented immigrants.

So if we're going to kick everybody out then that means you too.

What an absurd argument. Criminals enter the country freely when the door is wide open as it was during the Biden administration. If the door isn’t open, no one comes in at all, which prevents the murders, rapists, gang members, sex traffickers, and human smugglers from coming in. It’s pretty simple to everyone except the people who think everyone should just be able to walk across our border.

Lol. Trump's dumbassed wall enabled people to literally drive across the border. He literally built 50 construction roads across one of the most deadly natural barriers in the world, and enabled a mass migration to the US. What a fucking idiot.

And even with that, far more good people come in than criminals. That means with immigration our crime rates drop. Even with illegal immigration.

But this isn't really about that. It's about having an exploitable workforce. If this was truly about preventing bad people into the country, we would make hiring and profiting off them illegal. In all these ICE raids, how many employers have been arrested? How many managers at Home Depot have been arrested? How many states and cities have laws that prohibit landlords from renting to illegals? This would be similar to if we only arrested illegal drug users and not the drug dealers.

These "terrible" people are being exploited for profit. It was bad before, but now it's even worse. Now you can hire them, not pay them, and if they complain, they get arrested they moment they show up to court. You can insult them, assault them, and they won't report it.

If we really wanted to cure this terrible problem, make it illegal to do business with them. Don't hire them, rent to them, and sell large things like cars and houses to them. Make e-Verify a mandatory requirement in many transactions.

Instead, we just want to humiliate and abuse people to feel better about ourselves.
 
The majority of murder and other violent crimes on the US are committed by white male Christian heterosexual native born citizens. I propose we deport them all. Maybe send to Mars with Elon. Not only will crime go way down, we will still have good basketball, and as a side bonus, most politicians would be gone.

Since Trump began mass deportation, support for a path to legalization for immigrants has doubled. When landscapers, ice cream vendors, nursing mothers, other hard working people just providing for families are disappeared, anyone not a Trump cultists finds it wrong.

A Houston woman called police after domestic violence. Police called ICE. She is being deported.

A veteran with Purple Heart who has lived here more than 50 years agreed to leave rather than face deportation over 15 years old drug possession charge.

ICE arrested 9 months pregnant woman and held her in shackles for five hours before accepting proof she is American citizen born in Los Angeles. Two days later she gave birth. Her husband is being deported.

Pam Bondi exulted Extreme Court will now allow Trump to deport anyone without pesky due process.
