FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

I would think (hope?) it's a dislocated left kneecap? The way they covered up his knee and then had him look away, I don't know that a tendon tear or something is that obvious. I'm certainly no expert, in any case.

He had surgery on his RIGHT knee before, correct?

Ed O.

Wow, the possession after the injury pretty much sums up how I feel...

It's not Greg's fault. Shit just keeps happening to him.

I give up on him being a long-term answer, though. It's not his fault, he just has the WORST fucking luck.

Did anyone here not see the crease?

It looked like a dislocated knee.

so he left on a stretcher, didnt look in much agony.... please jebus - let us discover adamantium and bond it to Greg's skeleton asap.

so i guess its all back on roy now, he'll be happy

I saw the crease which is why I don't think he blew any ligaments, at least I am hoping. I think a dislocated kneecap would make it so he could come back later this season with a good recovery.

also, does he strap his knees?

Some links re: previous knee dislocations:

Bynum lost for 8 weeks due to dislocated kneecap.

Livingston dislocates knee. I think this is the one that shredded his knee and he's been pretty much done since, right?

Ugh.

Ed O.

I think with Livingston's dislocated knee he blew the kneecap and some ligaments where Bynum's was straight kneecap. I'm really hoping Greg didn't pull any ligaments because it really just looks like a kneecap movement right now.

Also I'm not sorry for the PA, but I will control myself next time.

I could see the team being almost overprotective with him, even if it's not that bad. He'll be out for a while.

Holy shit...Im not watching the game....did what I think happened happen? :(

I seriously feel sick.

When I first saw him yelling I felt horrible for him. Screw basketball. How much set back and misery does this kid have to endure?

It looks like he dislocated his kneecap like Bynum did but on a plant and jump - noticeable skin collapse where a kneecap should be, but he wasn't writing around in pain like Livingston. Best case scenario IMO is a dislocated kneecap with no ligament damage, and I imagine that is what we're all hoping for here.

I'm going to hold my rants until there is some kind of announcement. Then I'm going to find the tallest building in Portland and leap.
