Greg's knee is broken, and so is my heart.

This isn't just the end of our season, it's probably the end of our championship dreams.

Here's maybe some lemonade from the lemons.

Robinson suffered a back injury prior to the 1996-97 season and returned to play in six games before suffering a fractued left foot. The Spurs slumped to 20-62, but the silver lining for the Silver and Black was a chance to grab the No. 1 selection in the 1997 Draft Lottery.

The prize that draft was Tim Duncan. The Spurs won the right to draft Duncan and the San Antonio version of the Twin Tower would win two rings over the next five seasons.

Sorry, Denny, but that doesn't make me feel one bit better.

the last time we got the #1 pick, he got injured. Not sure if we want to do that again. :)

We're not going to tank either. This team is still going to make the playoffs, but we're probably better off tanking.

I don't give a shit if we make the playoffs or not. really. fuck the lotto picks, fuck basketball. this is worse than the shit we went through with the Jailblazers.

You have to give Greg fucking huge props for the gigantic brass ones he has to suffer a fractured kneecap and not scream, cry, or really writhe on the floor. That's some fucking toughness right there.

Fuck.

About twelve years ago I decided to stop following the NFL because there's only so much time a guy can devote to following sports. But lately I've been watching a lot of MMA, while still catching the Blazer games. I haven't seen a non-Blazer game all season.

Game 7 of the WCF, the Lakers/Sacramento series, Donaghy, and Wade's charging into players to draw cheap fouls, have all corroded my love for the NBA. But I always had my Blazers, no matter how bad it got. I even had faith that eventually Miller would come around and be used correctly by Portland.

But fuck.

Greg Oden is done for the year.

Fuck.

Maybe it's time to call it quits.

Man, I've pulled back just a bit because of the whole McMillan/Blake/Miller thing... but this. This. This is bad.

SUCKS! But we'll still make the playoffs. Could be worse, we could be the Nets etc.

The basketball gods have a sick sense of humor.

I hope Greg still has an NBA career. I'm so
sad for him.

Fuck Aaron Brooks. Fuck the Rockets. Fuck it all. Some one call me at the start of next season.
