Is anybody else stoked for this? I love this series, I own all 6 on DVD. I am sad to see it come to an end, but excited for the ending.

Anyone else watch it?

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Me.

I love it.

I want to be Vick Macky. Well depending on the ending of the series.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

You know I'm stoked. Season 6 was pretty weak imo, but I definitely see the show bouncing back. Someone needs to lay the smackdown on Shane.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

By the looks of things it looks like Shane's "protection" of Vic's family could lead to them regaining their trust.

Or at least being civil towards one another.

I thought Season 6 was weak, until I bought the DVD. After watching them back to back, it wasn't that bad off a season.

How the hell did I miss episode one? Man, I'm stupid. Time to search for it.

No need. It's obvious what happened in it.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Looks like Shane might kill off Vic and Ronnie to end the show.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Shit looks like it is really about to hit the fan.

Hm, I wonder if they'd kill off Vic, Ronny, and Shane. I think that would be pretty damn awesome.

I think it would be awesome too. Something rarely seen on TV to end a series.

Just kill everyone off!

I think it's really moving along, almost too fast.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Hm, how could they kill Vic, Ronny, and Shane off though? The Mexican mafia? Armenian mob?

I want to see Tavon kick the shit out of Shane, too.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Can one of you tell me what happens in episode 5 right after Ronnie and Shane talk to each other? I missed the last 7 mins or so.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Shane is looking to take Ronnie out. No surprise here. If it does happen, Vic is definitely going to kill Shane

Ronnie has grown on me, lately. With Lem out of the picture, we get to see more into his character.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Yeah it's nice to see Ronnie actually have some balls. His desire to take out Shane (last week) was refreshing from his typical sidekick role.

Re: The Shield: Final Act

Why would Shane gun for Ronnie, and not Vick? Unless he has plans for Vick already in motion that we'll see through flashbacks...

Maybe Shane figured out that Ronnie is looking out to get him, more so than Vic.

From what we have seen, it would be hard for Shane to come to that conclusion.

Then for what reason would Shane want to take Ronnie out? I'm pretty sure Shane is aware of the heavy tension between them. Ronnie is still mourning the death of Lem, while Vic, honestly, looks like he has moved on. Of course that's going to change when Vic finds out that Shane is looking to take Ronnie out the equation.

Btw, Ronnie has an awesome beard.

That is my question. Nothing we have seen has shown what you followed up with. Shane even told his wife that "whats worse is they think I'm so dumb, that I don't even realize they tried to kill me.", or something to that extent. He didn't only say Ronnie or Vic.

They are wrapping it up pretty quickly. Only 5 episodes left. Who thought that for a big chunk of the season Vick won't be a cop, but still running around on the streets?

It was a great episode.

Tonight's episode was amazing.

What about this for an ending: Vic kills Shane. Ronnie's conscious starts eating away at him and fears that Vic and Shane will team up against him and pin everything on him (Money train, etc..). Because of this, Ronnie goes to IAD and confesses everything in turn for immunity. Ronnie = snitch in protective custody. Shane = dead. Vic = fucked. When Vic finds out, since Corrine takes everything from him (his kids), he kills himself?

Don't think Vic is the type to kill himself. He's go after Corrine and Ronnie if it played out like that.

WOW. That was an awesome episode. Shit really hit the fan, and there's still 5 episodes left. Usually this kind of stuff happens right before a season finale. I just hope it doesn't let up.

Let's say Ronnie decides to testify against Vic for full immunity, and in midst of the trial, Vic eats his gun, would the deal be off the table?

... doubt this is how the show will end.

Everything seems to be a mess now. Not happy how they are wrapping up the series now (for the moment).

If there is no arrest by next week, I think the show will end with 'deaths on the street'.

I felt bad for Shane after last night's episode (despite Lem being my favorite character). You could tell he wanted away from the life, away from Vic, and regretted his decisions in life. He was always Vic's whipping boy and followed him through everything and it got him into so much shit. The one action he acts alone on and it ends up ruining his life.

I really want to see Vic die someway--it is the only way I think you can bring complete closure to the series. I hope Ronnie gets some immunity and I think maybe we'll see Mara die, too. Where does this leave Shane? Maybe he'll completely flip and testify against Vic or something if Vic doesn't eat it.

oh FUCK I totally forgot there was an episode last night! Damn you Obamaaaaa!!!

It should be up online.

like hulu, or torrent?

Like FX's site... no?

They will reshow it during the week too.

How could you forget the Shield was on?
