The GM and coach should be easy. This is a great job for qualified individuals. We should get the cream of the crop. We just need to be patient because it takes a tad bit of time to find the right guy. It's a process, you know

MM = Larry Miller. :biglaugh:

no, no, we need to take the first guy who says yes, so that a poster here will be able to mock them for hiring an underqualified candidate.

So Harden, Pierce, Aldridge will get us to the finals? Cool, let's do it

And in all seriousness, if that group were good enough to simply win a freaking playoff series, I'd be thrilled.

I wonder when someone actually will say yes?

say yes to.....being interviewed, like Sund turned down? Seems like we have interviewed a few. So about a year ago, to answer that question. If you mean when will one say yes to accepting the job, I guess we'd have to make a legitimate offer to a candidate for them to say yes.

Why would OKC trade Harden?

That is beyond wishful thinking.....

Not sure why you are laughing? The Blazer PR machine....er front office staff have told us it takes time to find the right guy. I have faith in them

No, I know. You totally had Miller's presentation down to a "T" though. It was awesome. So I was giving you props.

Again, no idea what you might be referring to. :straight face:

Again, further proof you have Miller down to a "T".

The guy really thinks we're all stupid. But that only applied to about 75% of this board (and other Blazers fans) for buying into the organization's shit.

Because they owe Durant/Westbrook/Perkins a combined $37M next year and $40M the year after, and Harden is going to command close to a max deal when he becomes an RFA next summer. Rather than have 4 players take up essentially their entire salary cap, they trade him for two lottery picks and a talented prospect.

In this NBA, with the current CBA, not unreasonable at all.

I have a good mix going. Thew people I think are stupid think I'm stupid as well, so it's a good balance

They aren't trading Harden.

The most viable option(s) are Eric Gordon or Bradley Beal.

If Beal measures close to a real SG, he's the way to go. If not Lamb would be a good gamble. Gordon has all the skill in the world, but has played less and less games each year he's been in the league. Do we really want that?
