I think dame makes it.

It more or less comes down to 2 spots (at the most) for Lillard, Paul, & Parker. If a lot of coaches vote for Paul despite his injury situation Lillard will likely be the odd man out.

That's why I'm confident. I think coaches are smarter than fans and pass on Paul due to injury. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong however, especially if emperor stern gets involved.

i don't think dame makes it unless it as an injury replacement. just not quite his time yet and a very deep conference. I love the idea of eliminating conferences for the AS game and have the top two vote getters pick teams from a group of 28 players chosen by the coaches. Still allows the fans to have some say but lessens their opportunities to vote in people undeserving of the spot.

i don't think dame makes it unless it as an injury replacement. just not quite his time yet and a very deep conference. Still allows the fans to have some say but lessens their opportunities to vote in people undeserving of the spot.

I think he would have made it, but this slump over the last five or six games might have killed it.

Even as an injury replacement Lillard will likely be up against Cousins or Anthony Davis, as well as Dragic, Conley etc., and the commish (Stern/Silver) would be much more likely to ignore team record and position than the coaches collectively would be.

Getting that All-Star nod means a lot in terms of how the refs treat you, and how the media markets you. It's very important.
