Let's get going. Big game. Need to win 1 of these first 2 games to put us in the series. I think today is our best chance. Let's get it done.
 
Well, we are a big underdog according to all the pickers, so let's hope somehow we can beat the dominant Canadiens...:).
 
good thing that we are underdogs, i feel it puts more pressure on the MTL, predictions are predictions, really don't mean anything until we see couple games and can get a better feel for the series... IMO the keys to this game is the line that doesn't play against suban steps up. Lundy stays solid and turnovers in neutral zone. MTL has speed and if we get a turnover its going to be deadly. RANGERS WIN 3-1
 
YES MSL, hagelin has had a amazing post season so far, his speed is so valuable , good for him
 
Just a great start. Keep it up. Marty has totally changed the course of this season. Team rallied around him or they don't beat Pitt

All we can ask for so far. The Habs need to adjust, no doubt they are flat so far off a huge win against the rival Bruins. That was the point I was making yesterday, beating the Bruins is epic for them based on that rivalry. They will get better, so we need to keep pushing.
 
Only a matter of time before a bunch of Habs PP's in this building....Keep it up. I love how they are getting chances in close on Price
 
Make good plays countering in transition and keep them from bombing away.
 
This is where it gets ugly for us and we regret it if we don't score. 2-0 lead and now back to back PP's. We need a goal here to keep the MO. Let's go.
 
this brassard situation is not good, hes the center of our best line and is the best player on the PP. FUCK
 
Great period, but I REALLY hope we don't regret these 2 PP's we sucked on, double so when Montreal gets 2 or 3 PP's in a row. That kind of thing usually bites us. We'll see.

But overall great job. Keep pushing because you know the Habs will raise it a level in the 2nd.

tell me something fellas, hockey is not my game, why do i feel this game is like a minor league game compared to the west coast game, watching getzlaf and perry , and the rest of both LA and the ducks play, its like a totally different level of hockey
 
When you compare a game 7 last night to a game 1 today...I agree. Game 1 is never the level of a game 7, or games later in the series because the hate is not there yet. There is always some feeling out, especially when it isn't a big rivalry like this series isn't with the Habs.
 
brassard got hit in an awkward position, clean hit it was, but weaver knew what he was doing, we need to take out suppan,... players know out of respect when and where to hit a player.... rangers have to go after suppan

No that plays right into their hands on the pp, keep doing what their doing and be disciplined.
 
Great start to the period. Keep taking it to them and pressuring them on their own zone.
 
Kreider's speed is so dangerous. Now he just needs to score on one of those plays.
