Any of you guys want to meet up at the RG?

ABM is going to try see if we can get our own Blazer Dancer if we have 20 or more in our group.

quit having these meets when I'm out of town!!!

Aren't you always out of town?

You live in Hood River...

haha touche' but I mean out of town as in cant make it to Portland. I was in Cali for the last half meet lol. Was in Gresham today though! Willamete Dental FTW!!! :pimp:

How's your insurance?

I go to OHSU school of dentistry. 1/2 price of a regular dentist so insurance pretty much covers everything. And they do a way better job. They do take longer then a regular dentist but since you work for the state time off shouldn't be a problem, lol.

So far so good on insurance. Chose Willamette Dental because it was cheaper lol. The wife has to have a root canal and a crown next month (she busted a tooth last night at the game and I had to fight tooth and nail for them to let me out of the RG to go get her some pain killers since nerves were exposed) and both procedures are only gonna run us like $200 after insurance which is nice. Fortunately time off with the state isnt an issue much since we have willamette and thats at least an hour drive each way.

$200 isn't bad at all.

And yes, I'm just using this dental discussion as an excuse to keeping bumping this thread.

I hope MGB sees this thread. He has been complaining of a bad tooth for months and can't seem to find anyone to take him.
This Blazer event will be a bust like most of their events. I would bet the concessions won't even be open. Just like the draft party.

Just sneak in a pint of something with you, we'll split it.

Concessions will be open in my living room, though!

This sounds very cool. I'm going to have to talk to the wife about this one.

Oh, and SPD--I've got tons of dental work that I'd love to get done cheap. Hook me up!

I dont really understand why anyone would want to go to this and pay $8 per beer.
I'll be watching it at home with my $7 six pack of Widmer W10 and my hot wife. :)

Why would anybody go to a game rather than watch it at home? Answer--atmosphere. Watching a game with 2 people is completely different than watching it with 20,000. Same thing applies here, except that you can (hopefully) get game atmosphere without the game ticket-price.

KEG STANDS!?!?!?!

No probably not, but the atmosphere should be fun and crazy anyway

Did you say ABM is going to be our Blazer Dancer if 20 of us show up?

I don't have a problem finding a dentist that'll 'take' me, my problem is finding one that doors are wide enough for my wheelchair.

I'd like to go to the viewing. It'd be fun with other people, but just not worth the physical pain. I'd rather watch it on my 67" hdtv and save the pain for our home games.

Mike Rice keeps complaining about a bad tooth. Maybe someone can hook him up and get him to shut up? :)

All I can say is Sunday is way too far away. I wish some playoff series started tonight, just so there would be some hoops to watch.

While it is a nice idea and all, I have a hard time justifying heading down there, when I can sit on my leather couch, 60" TV, barbecue up some short ribs from Gartners, and my choice of beer not costing me 8$ apiece at home. :devilwink:

Call up the OHSU school of dentistry. They will bring you in and do x-rays and a prelim exam. Then depending on what they find they will assign you a 3rd or 4th year student. That student will be treating you until they graduate but before, during and after every appointment a professor/dentist will review and oversee everything they student does. It's very methodical. Everything is a 3rd to 1/2 of what a regular dentist charges but the work done is as good if not better.

Ribs and Beer!!

So it's agreed, we'll all meet and pre-func at Hasoos' house. Enjoy some of those ribs and beer and then cab it the RG to watch the game. Great idea!

Who wants to join me in PHX? Room at the Ritz Carlton if you're willing to put out!

Where is Hasoos, I forgot to ask if the ribs are pork or beef?

I feel your pain... although I am extremely thankful for the NHL Playoffs on Versus (Go Pen's)! This is always such a fun time of the year for me, with both the NBA and NHL playoffs getting under way!
