Biggest positive for me was the assist:turnover ratio was much much better than the preseason. Hopefully this can maintain against teams that aren't going to be the worst defensive teams in the league.
Yes, I think they only had two turnovers in the second half.

It’s kind of funny that I actually feel better about this team after losing the first game of the season against the Kings but that is the case.

I see way too many things that can and will most likely get better. I feel the team needs games just like that game.

I thought we looked much better as the dust settled in the 2nd half. I liked what I saw from almost everybody and I like the rotation. I think we are a strong team, unlike what we've shown in the preseason games

nurk had 20/14 and only 1 turnover. while shooting 6/10 from the field and 7-7 from the line.
But he looked pretty shitty doing it. I swear I saw more than one turnover, and the usual butterfingers and missed bunnies.

Once again Simons was so one-dimensional on offense. Other than the driving layup, the dunk, the hook shot in the lane, and the pull-up mid-range jumper, all he did was shoot 3's.

Seriously though I love a good hook shot. They are very difficult to block. He shot it last year as well and if he masters it will be huge for him.

Nurk played pretty well but yeah I am still not convinced we should be running too many plays through him. Some....absolutely. But he does not always play under control and I just don't trust him not to turn it over late in games.

How often will Dame go 0-9 from 3? He makes a few of those and it's likely a different game. I like what Cody did, Ant too. LNJ will be fine. But not enough passing (I have no idea how Kerr gets GSW to pass so well).

How many years do you have to have been playing basketball to know the things you mentioned? I have to assume every NBA player knows those things.
You should been taught that in high school but u still see players not properly closing out and leaving there feet. But that what coach is for or one assistant for to drill that in there heads at any level. It's doesn't matter if in practice or game at level.

Entire bench was really good. I was clamoring for more bench. Haven’t done that in over a decade? Probably two?
I think the bench did good job overall in scoring I like to see the bench over 30 points a game that been the magical number for this team that has put us in the win column in the past.

That was still a good challenge because they reversed the continuation and it saved us two points.

Edit: I thought it was dumb we lost a timeout because I figured Billups was challenging the continuation of the call not the call itself.

Oh, I wasn’t talking about Billups with the shot about dumb challenges.

I was talking about Stotts last year when he challenged, and lost, an obvious call that cost us our last timeout. It was the 5/13 game based on my tweets. Lol.

Listened to Nurk. Never a good thing when talking about a foul. Nurk never fouled anyone E VER!
